Job summary

Superdrug Stores is seeking a Supervisor to lead a small team in Newport. The role is 16 hours per week with flexible shifts and a salary of £13.50 per hour.

You will support the management team with daily store operations, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer service while keeping the store well-stocked and welcoming. You will help motivate employees, develop their skills, and participate in training opportunities offered by the company.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or team leader experience within a fast-paced high street retailer preferred.
• Understanding of retail Key Performance Indicators; including sales, profit and service
• The ability to help others to develop and improve their skills
• Willingness to carry out piercing services for our customers (training provided and not essential as part of the role)

Responsibilities

• Support the management team with day-to-day store operations.
• Drive sales and deliver excellent customer service to build loyalty.
• Keep stock shelves neat and store looking its best; help reduce shrinkage and till errors.
• Motivate the team, manage shifts and maintain energy in a fast-paced environment.
• Support training and development of colleagues to maintain high standards.
