Job Opportunity: Supervisor at Deichmann, Dundee

Deichmann has an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor to join our team at the Dundee store!

Salary: Up to £13.41 per hour + 40p per hour (non-contractual, performance-related bonus)

About the Role

As a Supervisor in our White City store, you will play a vital role in leading the team and ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience. Whether you have previous supervisory experience in retail or are taking your first step into retail management, we are looking for energetic and enthusiastic candidates with excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
2. Open & close the store, including cashing up and completing administrative duties.
3. Provide excellent customer service and maintain expert knowledge of the product range.
4. Promote and recommend products, and support team training to ensure high service standards.
5. Ensure proper merchandising and attractive product displays.
6. Process stock deliveries and store transfers.
7. Support the achievement of monthly sales targets.
8. Handle customer queries and complaints effectively.

Personal Characteristics

1. Retail or related sector experience, or transferable skills.
2. Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
3. Ability to supervise, motivate, and coach a team.
4. Organized with a structured approach to work.
5. Customer-focused and task-oriented.
6. Commercial awareness and good communication skills.
