Job summary

Sainsbury’s is hiring Trading Assistants to support store operations in a fast-paced retail environment. Youll help replenish shelves, assist customers, and learn our products, services and promotions to offer informed recommendations.

Ideal candidates will be friendly, reliable, and able to work flexibly in a busy store, with a focus on delivering great service and maintaining tidy, well-presented displays.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Above school-leaver age.
• Able to lift heavy items and be on your feet in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish items across the store, keeping shelves tidy and well-presented.
• Always ready to serve customers brilliantly and proactively offer help.
• Build knowledge about products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
• Date check fresh produce and grocery items; assist with deliveries as required.
