Job summary

Sainsbury’s Group is seeking a Trading Assistant to help keep our stores ready for customers, stock shelves from the warehouse, and assist with Checkouts, on-demand ordering, and Click & Collect. You’ll build product knowledge and provide recommendations to shoppers in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are friendly, proactive, and able to work flexibly across the store with training in a variety of skills. Right to work in the UK is required, age 18+. Inclusive and supportive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a small team to ensure the store is ready for customers.
• Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish shelves.
• Picking and selecting quality products for customers using on-demand ordering and assisting with Click & Collect.
• Always ready to serve customers and offer help proactively.
• Build knowledge about products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
• Date checking fresh produce and grocery products.
