Job summary

National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty is seeking a Retail Team Member to welcome visitors to the shop at Sizergh, Kendal, and help them make the most of their day.

You’ll deliver excellent customer service on a part-time basis (16 hours per week, Fri–Sun) and contribute to shop displays, deliveries and keeping the shop floor clean and welcoming. Your role supports the National Trust's work by explaining how purchases fund its work.

• Willing to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• You’ll be offering visitors help and advice with their shopping.
• You’ll have high standards of presentation in the shop while providing excellent service to all customers.
• You’ll also talk to customers about how purchases fund the National Trust.
• Other duties may include arranging, receiving and unpacking deliveries, creating shop displays and keeping the shop floor clean and organized.
