Job summary

Lidl is seeking a Retail Shift Manager to lead a store team and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. You’ll motivate staff, manage inventory and cash processes, and ensure excellent customer service on every shift.

In response, we'll give you a competitive hourly pay rate based on equal opportunity and pay structures, plus an extra £2.00 per hour for work during bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts, as well as a generous benefits package designed to support your well‑being and life outside of Lidl.

What you'll do

• Motivate and support your team, learning from our Leadership and Company Principles
• Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks
• Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed alongside you
• Manage operations within your Store and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
• Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to make sure shifts run smoothly
• Give our customers the very best experience every time they visit your store
