ASEL is seeking a Retail Security Officer in South Shields to deter crime, patrol the store, and report incidents. You will carry out guarding duties, engage with customers professionally, and work with local authorities as required.

The role requires a valid SIA licence and a 5-year checkable history. Training will be provided, and you must be able to operate with integrity and situational awareness in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid SIA licence to apply.
• Previous experience in a Retail Security role is advantageous but full training will be provided.
• Please bring 5-year checkable work or education history and right-to-work documents.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the shop floor to deter criminal activity.
• Assess vulnerabilities and minimise risk.
• Liaise with management and local authorities as needed.
