Job summary

Ward Security in Gillingham, Kent is seeking an experienced Retail Security Officer to safeguard a Shopping Centre. You will perform ID checks, respond to emergencies, and provide information to staff and visitors while maintaining a professional demeanour.

The role requires a valid SIA license, strong customer service and communication skills, and a proven security track record. You will work 42 hours per week across days, nights and weekends on a 4 on/4 off pattern, in a busy retail

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence.
• Proven work experience as a Security Officer (min 1 year).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as information center for staff and visitors.
• Carry out ID checks and respond to emergencies.
• Write up incidents to the standard expected by Management.
• Deal with conflicts in an appropriate manner if required.
• Report issues to supervisor or duty manager.
