Job summary

ASEL is seeking a Retail Security Officer in Motherwell to provide visible deterrence, monitor for incidents and report them accurately. You will patrol the shop floor, assess vulnerabilities and liaise with store management and local authorities as needed.

The role requires a valid SIA licence and strong communication with customers and colleagues. 32 hours per week, shifts include 14:00–22:00 on Wed Thu Fri Sat. The position offers an hourly rate of £13.01.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence to apply.
• Retail security experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol shop floor and deter criminal activity.
• Provide visible deterrence and respond to incidents.
• Complete incident reports and liaise with local authorities.
• Conduct searches of colleagues and contractors in line with policy.
• Digitally report incidents using tablets/phones.
