Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated security officer to protect property, people and assets on client sites, executing duties in line with published Assignment Instructions and key performance indicators.

You will maintain compliance with UK law, complete required training, and ensure front-line licences (security guarding or door supervision) and CCTV PSS licences are renewed as scheduled. Mitie offers a flexible benefits package and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in security services at client sites.
• Hold a valid SIA license for security guarding or door supervision.
• SC clearance desirable for site access.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with policies, legal and regulatory requirements.
• Complete tasks on site as defined in Assignment Instructions.
• Review AI changes to improve service levels and efficiency.
• Maintain front-line licences and CCTV CCTV PSS licences as required.
• Report incidents and call emergency services when needed.
• Maintain professional conduct with customers and colleagues.
• Keep accurate incident notebook entries for reports.
