Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Security Officer to protect customer property and assets on site in the United Kingdom. You will follow Assignment Instructions, meet KPIs, and maintain high safety and customer service standards as part of a frontline security team.

The role requires an active SIA Licence, a willingness to undertake regulatory training, and ongoing professional development, with opportunities for progression within Mitie’s facilities management network.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience required.
• SIA Licence is mandatory.
• SC Clearance desirable but not required for all roles.

Responsibilities

• Protect the customer’s property, people and assets in accordance with AI instructions.
• Achieve KPIs/SLA targets through accountable service delivery.
• Complete required competency training and on-site duties as published in AI documents.
• Remain compliant with UK law, industry regulations and license requirements.
• Record incidents accurately and escalate as needed; maintain notebook entries.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and licence renewals.
