Job summary

ASEL is seeking a Relief Retail Security Officer for Parkgate retail park, Rotherham. The role involves providing visible deterrence, responding to incidents, and completing incident reports while patrolling the store and collaborating with local authorities.

The position requires a valid SIA licence, 48-hour week schedule, and the ability to maintain professional conduct and customer relations. Training is provided, with rights to work documentation required for interview.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the shop floor and deterring criminal activity.
• Assessing and identifying vulnerabilities, and working proactively to minimise risk.
• Liaising with management and local authorities when applicable.
• Managing vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid distress.
• Completing colleague and contractor searches when required, in line with customer company policy.
• Digitally reporting incidents and using tablets or phones for daily activity planning.
• Producing detailed and legible incident reports to assist the client and local authorities.
