Argenbright Security Europe Limited (trading as ASEL) is hiring a Retail Security Officer in the Nottingham area. You will deter crime, respond to incidents, and collaborate with local authorities while providing professional customer service.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, the ability to provide 5-year history, and right-to-work documents. Training will be provided, and multiple shifts are available. Competitive hourly pay applies.

Qualifications

• You must have a valid SIA licence to apply for this role.
• Previous experience in a Retail Security role is an advantage but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Applicants must provide a full 5-year checkable work or education history.
• Bring right to work documents and recent proof of address to interview.
• Current SIA Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor licence is required to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible deterrence in-store and respond to incidents.
• Complete incident reports accurately and collaborate with local authorities.
• Carry out access control, reception duties, and greet customers professionally.
• Conduct site patrols and support loss prevention efforts.
• Review CCTV recordings as part of stock loss investigations.
• Liaise with management and authorities as needed; ensure safety and compliance.
• Digitally report incidents and maintain clear, legible records.
• Follow Health & Safety and Equal Opportunities policies and company handbook.
