BardWood Support Services is seeking a Retail security officer in Shrewsbury to safeguard staff and customers in a busy retail setting. You will patrol premises, greet customers, and assist staff while monitoring entry points and responding to incidents.

The role requires a valid SIA license, a 5-year checkable history, and the ability to stay composed under pressure as you manage crowds and cooperate with colleagues.

• SIA License required.
• Experience in a similar role is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.

About the role

Title – Retail security officer

Pay Rate – £13.58ph

Location – Shrewsbury

Shift Timings – Full time 40 hours per week- Must be flexible to work day shifts and weekends

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Handing out baskets

• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.
