Cys Security Ltd in Shrewsbury is hiring a Security Officer to create a safe, welcoming environment for customers and colleagues. You’ll stay calm under pressure, lead with professionalism and protect people, stores and products while delivering great service.

The role is fast-paced and customer-facing; you’ll be a visible presence in-store, use store technology and body-worn cameras, and work with a team to maintain high standards.

Join us as a Security Officer, where you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming and secure environment for our customers and colleagues. We're looking for confident, customer-focused individuals who can combine strong awareness with a warm and approachable attitude. You'll be a visible presence in store, helping customers feel supported while playing an important role in keeping the business safe and secure.

• You'll help keep our stores safe and secure. From preventing loss and responding to incidents, to identifying risks and supporting safe ways of working, you'll play a key role in protecting the retail environment.
• Being digitally confident is essential. You'll use store technology, including mobile reporting systems and body-worn cameras, to support store operations and incident management.
• You'll stay calm under pressure. Whether responding to challenging situations or supporting emergency procedures, you'll always act professionally and confidently.
• Being a team player is crucial. You'll work closely with store colleagues to maintain high standards, support operations and create a positive environment for everyone.
