Job summary

Cys Security Ltd is seeking a Security Officer in Ellesmere Port to help create a safe, welcoming and secure environment for customers and colleagues. You’ll be a calm, professional presence, delivering great service while protecting people, stores and products.

You’ll operate in a fast-paced retail setting, staying alert, responsive and ready to step in when needed, with strong communication and a proactive mindset essential. A valid SIA licence and UK work history are required.

Join us as a Security Officer, where you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming and secure environment for our customers and colleagues.

Customer service is at the heart of the role. You'll create a welcoming store environment, greeting customers as they start shopping with us, while delivering professional support to both customers and colleagues.

You'll help keep our stores safe and secure. From preventing loss and responding to incidents, to identifying risks and supporting safe ways of working, you'll play a key role in protecting the retail environment.

Being digitally confident is essential. You'll use store technology, including mobile reporting systems and body-worn cameras, to support store operations and incident management.

You'll stay calm under pressure. Whether responding to challenging situations or supporting emergency procedures, you'll always act professionally and confidently.

Being a team player is crucial. You'll work closely with store colleagues to maintain high standards, support operations, and create a positive environment for everyone.

Flexibility is vital. Retail moves fast and every day is different. You'll adapt quickly to changing situations to support the store when needed.
