Job summary

BardWood is seeking a Retail Security Officer in Lincoln to safeguard staff and customers in a busy retail environment. You will patrol the premises, monitor entry points, respond to incidents, and use theft-detection equipment while maintaining a professional presence with shoppers.

Flexibility is required for shift timings as per client needs, and the role offers a pathway to permanent employment after 12 weeks with a range of benefits and progression opportunities within BardWood’s growing

Qualifications

• SIA license required.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar security role is advantageous.
• Must be physically fit to undertake tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Call for help in emergencies and operate theft-detecting devices.
• Deal with large crowds and build positive customer relations.

About the role

Title – Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate – 13.10 per hour

Location – Lincoln

Shift Timings – Must be flexible as per client's requirements.

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
