Job summary

Kingdom Group is recruiting a Retail Security Officer for Tesco Halstead, CO9 2JN on a temporary full-time basis. You will provide a professional security presence, deter theft, and support store operations while delivering excellent customer service.

Shifts include Thursday to Sunday with various times. A valid SIA Licence is essential, and strong communication and teamwork are valued to ensure a safe, welcoming shopping environment.

Retail Security Officer

Location: Tesco Halstead, CO9 2JN
Pay Rate: £13.72 per hour
Hours: 31.25 hours per week
Contract: Temporary Full-Time

About the Role

Kingdom Group is looking for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tesco Halstead, CO9 2JN on a temporary full-time basis.

As a key member of the security team, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and visitors while delivering excellent customer service and supporting the day-to-day operation of the store.

Shift Pattern

You will work 31.25 hours per week across the following shifts:

• Thursday: 14:00 - 22:15
• Friday: 14:00 - 22:15
• Saturday: 14:00 - 22:15
• Sunday: 10:00 - 16:00

Flexibility may be required to support the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a professional and highly visible security presence within the store.
• Deter theft, anti-social behaviour, and other security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents calmly, professionally, and in line with company procedures.
• Carry out regular patrols of the store and surrounding areas.
• Monitor CCTV systems where applicable.
• Deliver excellent customer service to customers and colleagues.
• Complete accurate incident reports and relevant documentation.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at all times.
• Work closely with store management and colleagues to support operational requirements.

What We're Looking For
