Job summary

B&M Retail in Clevedon is hiring a Retail Security Officer on a full-time, permanent basis. The role supports safeguarding the store, reducing loss, and delivering a welcoming customer experience across daytime, evening and weekend shifts.

You will work with the Store Management Team to uphold safety standards, investigate incidents, and engage with customers professionally while maintaining integrity and teamwork.

• Engaging with customers and colleagues to resolve situations calmly and effectively.

Are you a confident and professional Retail Security Officer? Do you enjoy safeguarding people, products, and store environments while delivering a welcoming customer experience?

Join our team in Clevedon and other B&M surrounding stores to make a real difference!

In this role, you'll be trusted with responsibility and play a vital role in safeguarding the store. Working closely with the Store Management Team, you'll help prevent loss, manage risk and maintain high standards of safety and professionalism.

This is a full-time, permanent role with flexibility to work across daytime, evening and weekend shifts - ideal for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and being an integral part of the store team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Actively monitoring the store to identify, prevent and report incidents
• Operating and reviewing CCTV systems in line with company policies
• Supporting the enforcement of Health & Safety procedures
• Conducting investigations into stock loss, theft and fraud
• Engaging with customers and colleagues to resolve situations calmly and effectively
