Job summary

B&M Retail in Burnham-On-Sea is seeking a confident and professional Retail Security Officer to safeguard people, products and the store environment while delivering a welcoming customer experience. This full-time, permanent role offers daytime, evening and weekend shifts across our Burnham-On-Sea stores and surrounding sites.

You will monitor the store, operate CCTV, support health and safety procedures, investigate stock loss, theft and fraud, and engage with customers and colleagues to

Are you a confident and professional Retail Security Officer? Do you enjoy safeguarding people, products, and store environments while delivering a welcoming customer experience?

Join our team in Burnham-On-Sea and other B&M surrounding stores to make a real difference!

In this role, you’ll be trusted with responsibility and play a vital role in safeguarding the store. Working closely with the Store Management Team, you’ll help prevent loss, manage risk and maintain high standards of safety and professionalism.

This is a full-time, permanent role with flexibility to work across daytime, evening and weekend shifts - ideal for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and being an integral part of the store team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Actively monitoring the store to identify, prevent and report incidents
• Operating and reviewing CCTV systems in line with company policies
