Job summary

B&M Retail in Peterborough is hiring a confident and professional Retail Security Officer to safeguard people, products and store environments while delivering a welcoming customer experience. The role is full-time and permanent with shifts across daytime, evening and weekends.

You’ll monitor store activity, operate CCTV, enforce Health & Safety procedures, investigate stock loss, theft and fraud, and engage with customers and colleagues to resolve situations calmly and effectively.

Are you a confident and professional Retail Security Officer? Do you enjoy safeguarding people, products, and store environments while delivering a welcoming customer experience?

Join our team in Peterborough and make a real difference!

In this role, you’ll be trusted with responsibility and play a vital role in safeguarding the store. Working closely with the Store Management Team, you’ll help prevent loss, manage risk and maintain high standards of safety and professionalism.

This is a full-time, permanent role with flexibility to work across daytime, evening and weekend shifts - ideal for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and being an integral part of the store team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Actively monitoring the store to identify, prevent and report incidents
