Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Bridgwater is seeking a Retail Security Officer to provide a visible presence on the shop floor, deliver excellent customer service and help keep customers and staff safe.

You’ll support store management, deter theft, and assist with CCTV operations to reduce stock loss. The role offers flexible shifts, paid lunch breaks and a range of benefits including pension, progression opportunities, and training.

• A full 5-year checkable employment or education history (essential for vetting)

• Deterring theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences
• Carrying out regular store patrols
• Operating CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss

• Supporting partnerships with Police and local crime networks
• Using Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite
