Job summary

BardWood Support Services is seeking a Retail Security Officer for a well-known retail store in Aberdeen AB10. The role requires flexible shifts as per client needs and involves protecting staff and customers.

Duties include patrolling the store, monitoring entrances, responding to disturbances, using theft-detection devices, and maintaining calm in busy periods while building positive customer relations. On completion of 12 weeks, the role transfers to the client with benefits such as SIA

Qualifications

• SIA license required and up-to-date.
• 5-year checkable work history.
• Experience in a similar security role is advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.
• Flexible shift availability to meet client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling store premises and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Investigating disturbances and coordinating with emergency services.
• Operating theft-detecting devices and calling for help when needed.
• Maintaining positive customer relations during busy periods.

Pay Rate –13.10

Location – Aberdeen AB10

Shift Timings – Must Be Flexible As Per Clients Requirement

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
