Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a part-time Security Guard for Superdrug Kingston. The role operates on weekends (14 hours) with SIA licence required and benefits as part of Mitie’s flexible plan. Pays £13.45 per hour.

Responsibilities include patrolling the store, deterring theft, recording incidents via SMART, and coordinating with store management and local police to reduce crime in store. High standards of appearance and conduct are expected.

Qualifications

• SIA licence is required to work in security roles.
• Experience delivering customer service is essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Protect customers and colleagues from abuse and deter crime.
• Patrol the store and undertake checks per site instructions.
• Record incidents using the SMART system and inform store management.
• Wear full uniform with SIA badge and keep it valid.
• Liaise with store management and police to reduce crime in store.
