Job summary

Russell's Food and Drink on Newtownards Road is seeking a Sales Assistant. This 16-hour-per-week role requires a flexible Monday–Sunday roster with early starts from 6:30 AM and potential additional hours as needed. You will deliver excellent customer service, maintain store standards and assist the manager in daily operations.

Applicants should be 18+, demonstrate strong communication skills, and be a reliable team player with a professional appearance. Prior retail experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years old and over.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain professional level of customer service at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist in customer relations by delivering excellent service at all times.
• Maintain housekeeping standards inside and outside the store.
• Ensure stock is controlled and merchandised to company standards.
• Keep premises safe and secure and comply with cash handling rules.
• Adhere to health and safety information and licensing standards.
• Support the manager in sales, security and stock control.
• Attend to all other duties related to the post.
