Brewers Decorator Centres in Morpeth is seeking a Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties on a 12 month fixed term contract. The role combines in-store customer service with local deliveries, under a 40-hour week from Monday to Friday with Saturday rotas.

Salary is £28,136 per annum plus pension and company benefits. Full training, supportive team, and opportunities to develop within a long-established national decorating materials supplier are offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to customers in the branch and support delivery operations.
• Make contactless deliveries to customers in the local area using the company van.
• Mix paint for customers and handle specialist orders.
• Build relationships with customers to identify their needs and provide a full service.
• Keep the warehouse organized and safe in line with company standards.
• Promote seasonal items and merchandising to increase visibility and sales.
• Unload deliveries and distribute stock throughout the store.

Located on Coopies Lane, we have been supplying local trade and retail customers with the widest range of decorating materials and providing expert advice to our customers on all things decorating. In store customers will find the widest selection of trade and designer paints, wallcoverings and a huge choice of decorating tools and equipment. The Branch opening hours are Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm and Saturday 8am - 5pm.

As a Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties at Brewers, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional service to customers in the branch, to deliver upon our reputation for quality Brewers service
• Using product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs
• Making contactless deliveries to customers in and around the local area driving our Company Transit van
• Mix paint for Customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the Branch network
• Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and allow us to provide a comprehensive service
• Keep our warehouse organised and safe, in line with company standards
• Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales
• Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store

Who We Are Looking For To Join Our Team

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, to understand and translate customer requirements into product recommendations
• Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality - happy to help both customers and colleagues
• Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can always be relied upon to work as an individual
• Familiar with the surrounding area
• Full clean manual driving licence
• Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry
• Previous retail experience or product knowledge would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be given to the right person.
