Job summary

Brewers Decorator Centre in Morpeth is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties for a 12‑month fixed term contract, working 40 hours a week.

You will deliver exceptional customer service in-store and on deliveries, use product knowledge to help customers, and support a smooth delivery service across the local area with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service and sales aptitude demonstrated in retail or similar setting.
• Ability to understand customer needs and make product recommendations.
• Experience with driving deliveries preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to customers in-store and during deliveries.
• Use product knowledge to recommend the best products for customer needs.
• Make contactless deliveries to customers in and around the local area using the company van.
• Mix paint for customers, process specialist orders and request stock within the branch network.
• Build relationships with customers to identify needs and provide a comprehensive service.
• Keep the warehouse organized and safe according to company standards.
• Promote seasonal items and merchandising to increase visibility and sales.
• Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store.

You will play a vital part in helping serve customers and keeping the branch and its delivery service running smoothly - experience with our products isn't necessary, if you bring great customer service and team working skills to the table, we'll give you everything you need to succeed.Located on Coopies Lane, we have been supplying local trade and retail customers with the widest range of decorating materials and providing expert advice to our customers on all points decorating. In store customers will find the widest selection of trade and designer paints, wallcoverings and a huge choice of decorating tools and equipment. • Providing exceptional service to customers in the branch, to deliver upon our reputation for quality Brewers service

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, to understand and translate customer requirements into product recommendations
• Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality - happy to help both customers and colleagues
• Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can always be relied upon to work as an individual
• Familiar with the surrounding area
• Full clean manual driving licence
• Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry
• Previous retail experience or product knowledge would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be given to the right person
