Job summary

Brewers Decorator Centres in High Wycombe is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Advisor with driving duties for 32 hours per week. The role includes providing excellent customer service, supporting the branch and its delivery service, and working across local branches if required.

A full clean driving licence is essential. Located on Crest Road, this position offers a competitive salary (£22,508 per annum) plus a pension and company benefits, with a 7am–5pm weekday pattern and Saturday rota.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to customers in the branch and assist with delivery service.
• Make contactless deliveries to customers in the local area using the company Transit van.
• Mix paint for customers, process specialist orders and request stock as needed.
• Keep the warehouse and store area organized and safe.
• Promote products and assist in merchandising to increase sales.

Located on Crest Road, we have been supplying local trade and retail customers with the widest range of decorating materials and providing expert advice to our customers on all things decorating. In store customers will find the widest selection of trade and designer paints, wallcoverings and a huge choice of decorating tools and equipment. The Branch opening hours are Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm and Saturday 8am - 5pm. As a Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties at Brewers, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional service to customers in the branch, to deliver upon our reputation for quality Brewers service
• Using product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs
• Making contactless deliveries to customers in and around the local area driving our Company Transit van
• Mix paint for Customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the Branch network
• Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and allow us to provide a comprehensive service
• Keep our warehouse organised and safe, in line with company standards
• Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales
• Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, to understand and translate customer requirements into product recommendations
• Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality - happy to help both customers and colleagues
• Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can always be relied upon to work as an individual
• Familiar with the surrounding area and be happy to work in another local branches if required, so flexibility is key.
• Full clean manual driving licence
• Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry
• Previous retail experience or product knowledge would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be given to the right person.
