Brewers Decorator Centre in High Wycombe is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties. 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota. Salary £22,508 per annum plus pension and company benefits.

You will support customers in-store and assist with local deliveries using the company transit van. Excellent teamwork and a customer-focused approach are essential. Experience is helpful but full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Open and friendly personality, helpful to customers and colleagues.
• Flexible to work across local branches if required, with a full clean manual driving licence.
• Retail experience or product knowledge is advantageous but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to customers in the branch and maintain Brewers service standards.
• Use product knowledge to recommend products that meet customer needs.
• Make contactless deliveries to customers in the local area using the company Transit van.
• Mix paint for customers, process orders, and request stock within the branch network.
• Build relationships with customers to identify needs and offer a comprehensive service.
• Keep the warehouse organized and safe, in line with company standards.
• Promote seasonal items and merchandising to increase visibility and sales.
• Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store.

We have an excellent opportunity for a friendly and reliable Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties to join the team at our Brewers Decorator Centre in High Wycombe, to provide exceptional service to customers in our store. You will play a vital part in helping serve customers and keeping the branch and its delivery service running smoothly - experience with our products isn't necessary, if you bring great customer service and team working skills to the table, we'll give you everything you need to succeed.

Located on Crest Road, we have been supplying local trade and retail customers with the widest range of decorating materials and providing expert advice to our customers on all things decorating. In store customers will find the widest selection of trade and designer paints, wallcoverings and a huge choice of decorating tools and equipment. The Branch opening hours are Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm and Saturday 8am - 5pm.

As a Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties at Brewers, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional service to customers in the branch, to deliver upon our reputation for quality Brewers service
• Using product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs
• Making contactless deliveries to customers in and around the local area driving our Company Transit van
• Mix paint for Customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the Branch network
• Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and allow us to provide a comprehensive service
• Keep our warehouse organised and safe, in line with company standards
• Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales
• Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store

Who we are looking for to join our team:

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, to understand and translate customer requirements into product recommendations
• Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality - happy to help both customers and colleagues
• Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can always be relied upon to work as an individual
• Familiar with the surrounding area and be happy to work in another local branches if required, so flexibility is key.
• Full clean manual driving licence
• Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry
• Previous retail experience or product knowledge would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be given to the right person.
