Brewers Decorator Centres in Kendal is recruiting a friendly Part Time Retail Sales Advisor with driving duties. You will provide outstanding service in-branch, assist customers with product choices, and handle local deliveries using the company van.

The role requires 25.5 hours over 3 days per week, with a competitive salary of £17,943 p.a. plus pension and benefits. Training is provided and career progression is supported within the Brewers group.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills to understand and translate customer requirements into product recommendations.
• Approachable, friendly personality; helpful to customers and colleagues.
• Enjoys working in a team but can be relied on individually.
• Familiar with the Kendal area.
• Full clean manual driving licence.
• Keen to learn, develop skills and progress in the industry.
• Previous retail experience or product knowledge is advantageous but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to customers in branch to uphold Brewers service quality.
• Use product knowledge to recommend products that fit customer needs.
• Make contactless deliveries in and around Kendal driving the Company Transit van.
• Mix paint for customers, process specialist orders, and request stock within the branch network.
• Build relationships with customers to identify needs and provide a full service.
• Keep the warehouse organized and safe in line with company standards.
• Promote seasonal items and merchandising in-store to increase visibility and sales.
• Unload deliveries and distribute stock throughout the store.

We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and reliable Part Time Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties to join the team at our PaintWell store in Kendal. Providing exceptional service to our customers in branch, you will play a vital part in helping us serve customers and keeping the branch running smoothly - experience with our products isn't necessary, if you bring great customer service and team working skills to the table, we'll give you everything you need to succeed.

Salary - £17,943 per annum plus pension and company benefits

Located on Mintsfeet Road South, our Kendal PaintWell store proudly serves local homeowners and trades people with the broadest range of decorating materials - customers will find everything they need in store including trade and designer paints from a wide variety of brands and all of the decorating materials needed to complete their home décor projects. Part of the Brewers Group, PaintWell are dedicated to delivering high quality products and expert advice to all of our customers. The branch opening hours are Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm and Saturday 8.00am - 1pm.

As a Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties for Brewers, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional service to customers in branch, to deliver upon our reputation for quality Brewers service
• Using product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs
• Making contactless deliveries to customers in and around the local area driving our Company Transit van
• Mix paint for Customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the Branch network
• Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and allow us to provide a comprehensive service
• Keep our warehouse organised and safe, in line with company standards
• Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales
• Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store
