Job summary

Brewers Decorator Centre in Liverpool is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties to assist customers in-store and deliver to local customers using the company Transit van.

You will work 42.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri with Saturdays on a rota), with relocation to Huyton Trade Park and a salary of £29,894 per annum plus a comprehensive benefits package and pension. Prior retail experience is helpful but training will be given.

Qualifications

• Willing to attend training to become a Fire Marshall and/or First Aider.

Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional service to customers in the branch, delivering on Brewers service.
• Using product knowledge to recommend products for customers.
• Making contactless deliveries to customers in and around the local area with the Company Transit van.
• Mixing paint for customers, processing specialist orders, requesting stock within the branch network.
• Building relationships with customers to identify needs and provide a comprehensive service.
• Keeping the warehouse organized and safe to company standards.
• Promoting seasonal items and merchandising goods in-store to increase sales.
• Unloading deliveries and distributing stock throughout the store.

We have an excellent opportunity for a friendly and reliable Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties to join the team at our PaintWell store in Liverpool, to provide exceptional service to customers in our store ahead of our exciting new relocation to Huyton Trade Park, Liverpool. You will play a vital part in helping serve customers and keeping the branch and its delivery service running smoothly - experience with our products isn't necessary, if you bring great customer service and team working skills to the table, we'll give you everything you need to succeed.

Currently located on King Edward Industrial Estate, our Liverpool PaintWell store proudly serves local homeowners and trades people with the broadest range of decorating materials - customers will find everything they need in store including trade and designer paints from a wide variety of brands and all of the decorating materials needed to complete their home décor projects. Part of the Brewers Group, PaintWell are dedicated to delivering high quality products and expert advice to all of our customers. The branch opening hours are Monday to Friday 7.00am - 5pm and Saturday 8am - 5pm.

As a Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional service to customers in the branch, to deliver upon our reputation for quality Brewers service
• Using product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs
• Making contactless deliveries to customers in and around the local area driving our Company Transit van
• Mix paint for Customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the Branch network
• Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and allow us to provide a comprehensive service
• Keep our warehouse organised and safe, in line with company standards
• Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales
• Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store

• Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can always be relied upon to work as an individual
• Willing to attend training to become a Fire Marshall and/or First Aider if required
• Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry
• Previous retail experience or product knowledge would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be given to the right candidate
