Job summary

The Brewers Decorator Centre operates a PaintWell store in Bromborough. We are seeking a friendly Retail Sales Advisor to provide exceptional service to customers, help with product selection and ensure the branch and delivery service run smoothly.

You'll join a team at Bromborough Village Road, with a wide range of decorating materials and brands. Training will be provided; roles include potential Fire Marshall/First Aider responsibilities and pension/benefits accompany a comprehensive rewards

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Willing to attend training to become Fire Marshall/First Aider.
• Retail experience or product knowledge is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to customers in branch, delivering on Brewers service reputation.
• Use product knowledge to make recommendations and help customers find the best product.
• Mix paint for customers, process specialist orders and request stock via the branch network.
• Develop sales of wallpaper, paint and fabric within the product range.
• Build relationships with customers to identify needs and provide a comprehensive service.
• Promote seasonal items and merchandize goods in-store to boost visibility and sales.
• Assist with stock maintenance in the branch.
• Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store.
• Keep the warehouse organized and safe according to company standards.

We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and reliable Retail Sales Advisor to join our PaintWell store in Bromborough. Providing exceptional service to our customers, you will play a vital part in helping us serve customers and keeping the branch and its delivery service running smoothly - experience with our products isn't necessary, if you bring great customer service and team working skills to the table, we'll give you everything you need to succeed.

Located on Bromborough Village Road, our Bromborough PaintWell store proudly serves local homeowners and trades people with the broadest range of decorating materials - customers will find everything they need in store including trade and designer paints from a wide variety of brands and all of the decorating materials needed to complete their home décor projects. Part of the Brewers Group, PaintWell are dedicated to delivering high quality products and expert advice to all of our customers. The branch opening hours are Monday to Friday 7am - 5.30pm and Saturday 8am - 5pm

As a Retail Sales Advisor with Brewers, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Provide exceptional service to customers in branch, to deliver upon our reputation for quality Brewers service
• Use product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs
• Mix paint for Customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the Branch network
• Developing sales of the Company product range including wallpaper, paint and fabric
• Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and allow us to provide a comprehensive service
• Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales
• Assisting with stock maintenance in the branch
• Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store
• Keep our Warehouse organised and safe, in line with company standards

Who we are looking for to join the team:

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, to understand and translate customer requirements into product recommendations
• Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality - happy to help both customers and colleagues
• Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can always be relied upon to work as an individual
• Willing to attend training to become a Fire Marshall and/or First Aider if required
• Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry
• Previous retail experience or product knowledge would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be given to the right candidate
