Job summary

Nisbets is seeking a Retail advisor to join our Clearance team at Avonmouth. This part-time role is 24 hours per week, worked over 4 days out of 6 (Mon-Sat with some flexibility). The position offers an hourly rate of £13.60 and a salary around £16,968 per year.

You will process stock deliveries, replenish the shop floor, assist customers, handle basic payments, and ensure adherence to health and safety policies while supporting sales targets.

Qualifications

• Manual handling and lifting heavy items.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• High level of flexibility.
• Basic numeracy, literacy & IT skills.
• Great verbal and written communication.
• Familiarity with Maginus management systems is preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse/retail or hospitality environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process stock deliveries in clearance warehouse, including sorting and preparing products for sales by inspecting product quality, re-packing, labelling and pricing items, following the established processing guidelines.
• Take accountability for replenishing the shop floor with processed items, ensuring that store is fully stocked.
• Deliver first-class customer service in line with Nisbets expectations.
• Process basic customer payment transactions whilst adhering to policy.
• Be accountable for adhering to all H&S policies and operational policies.
• Take ownership of contributing to sales targets and KPIs including revenue, margin and stock processing

We are currently looking for a Retail advisor to work alongside our Clearance team in Avonmouth

24 hours a week, working 4 days out of 6 Monday - Saturday (flexibility may be required)

Hourly Rate £13.60 / Annual Salary £16,968

Our Retail Advisors in our clearance section are an essential part of the department covering day-to-day tasks in a busy Clearance warehouse and shop environment.The main purpose of the role is to process and clear products ready for sale in the clearance store, as well as process orders for customers within the Clearance store and assisting customers in their product queries.

Key Responsibilities

• Process stock deliveries in clearance warehouse, including sorting and preparing products for sales by inspecting product quality, re-packing, labelling and pricing items, following the established processing guidelines.

• Previous experience in a warehouse/retail or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with catering equipment is an advantage
• Familiarity with Maginus management systems is preferred.
