Job summary

Hotel Chocolat is seeking a Sales Advisor at our Rushmere store. You will warmly welcome customers, share product knowledge, and create an exceptional shopping experience through friendly conversations and demonstrations.

No prior retail experience is required; you will be supported to learn product details, handle till transactions, and contribute to a welcoming store ambiance with a focus on upselling and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required; must be a true brand ambassador who is passionate and customer focused.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a welcoming approach.
• Willingness to learn about products and assist customers with recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and immerse them in the Hotel Chocolat world.
• Identify customer needs through friendly conversation and curiosity.
• Demonstrate products, offer tastings, and check allergens as needed.
• Close sales and upsell items like gift bags.
• Process transactions, refunds and exchanges at the till.
• Respond to customer feedback and maintain store standards.
• Assist with deliveries and stock, keep the area tidy per health and safety guidelines.
• If applicable, prepare drinks/snacks in café areas and upsell to customers.
• Support store and team to ensure a great customer experience.
