Job summary

Nisbets is recruiting a Retail Sales Advisor to join our Reading store on a 20-hour week, spread over 4 days out of 6 with shifts between 8:45am and 5:45pm. The role offers an hourly rate of £12.85 and opportunities for career progression within a long-established global business.

You will deliver first-class customer service, contribute to store sales targets, maintain an appealing shop floor, handle payments, and work to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.

We are currently recruiting for a Retail Sales Advisor to work the following

20 hours a week, Working 4 days out of 6 across Monday - Saturday (flexibility will be required)

Working hours between 8:45am - 5:45pm

Hourly Rate £12.85 / Annual Salary £13,368

What will I be doing as a Retail Sales Advisor?

• Delivers first-class customer service in line with Nisbets expectations, ensuring all customer's needs are met and customer's repeatedly return.
• Take ownership of contributing to store sales targets and KPIs including Revenue, Margin, Conversion, Footfall, Quotes and ATV to maximize profitability of the store.
• Contribute to the store outreach plan, with the use of your own local knowledge, which may include but is not limited to, outbound sales calls, visiting customers and participate in meetings and events in store.
• Ensure Visual Merchandising standards are met to drive customer engagement and repeat custom through maximizing Store KPIs.
• Accurately complete stock auditing tasks in line with managers guidance
• Process customer payment transactions whilst adhering to policy.
• Be accountable for reading, understanding, and adhering to all retail policies communicated by your line manager.
• Uphold great standards of Cleaning in areas of shop floor, back areas, windows, fitting rooms to create a healthy environment for customers and colleagues
• Treat all visitors to the store with respect and consideration using training provided to assess and approach difficult situations with the aim of a positive solution.
• Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all visitors to Store.
• Proactively ask questions to ensure comprehension of all working practices and procedures,
