Job summary

Zurich Insurance Company is hiring a Retail Protection Product Consultant in the UK. The role supports design, implementation and management of protection propositions, balancing customer outcomes with market needs.

The role requires experience in UK life/retail protection, strong communication, and the ability to work with multi-functional teams across the product lifecycle. Flexible location with some travel to Swindon; part-time or full-time options.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the UK Life market and protection products.
• Experience in retail protection advantageous.
• Ability to lead or contribute to multi-functional project teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage protection propositions on the Life Protection Platform.
• Analyse market, competitors and customer needs to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Build business cases and assess feasibility of new product ideas.
• Lead or support projects to refresh or create new protection propositions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer-focused outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate regulatory and delivery risks before launch.
• Maintain propositions on industry quote portals and best-advice systems.
• Understand regulatory changes and their impact on protection products.
• Understand pricing and reinsurance aspects within development processes.
• Act as protection subject matter expert across the business.
• Develop and maintain a network of experts across areas.
