Bestway Wholesale in London NW10 is seeking a Retail Project Manager to lead strategic retail initiatives, delivering projects from concept to BAU adoption.

You will work across Retail, Trading, Operations, Finance, IT and Marketing, coordinating cross-functional teams and maintaining governance and benefits realization.

The role emphasizes strong stakeholder management, commercial thinking and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to drive business cases and reporting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience managing complex projects or programmes in a commercial environment.
• Strong project planning and delivery skills, managing senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Commercial awareness and confidence working with financial information and business cases.
• Ability to identify risks, dependencies and delivery issues and drive them to resolution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to produce concise, senior-management-level project reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring scope, cost, quality and timelines are achieved.
• Develop project plans, milestones, resource requirements and risk strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage dependencies and critical paths.
• Identify and resolve delivery issues and transition into BAU operations.
• Develop robust business cases with Finance and commercial teams.
• Define clear financial and non-financial success measures for each project.
• Track sales, margin, EBITDA, cost-saving and other benefits against plan.
• Provide visibility of project performance to senior management.
