Job summary

Repton School is seeking a Deputy Retail Operations Manager to support the Retail Operations Manager in running the school’s coffee shops and the School shop across Repton School. You will lead retail teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.

The role focuses on coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure resources required are communicated and available, and you will act as the initial point of contact for all customer groups using the facilities under your control.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with professionalism and a proactive approach in daily operations.
• Motivate, coach and develop staff to ensure consistent performance.
• Prepare and adjust staff rotas to meet business needs.
• Ensure fair and balanced scheduling while maintaining compliance with regulations.
• Assist in developing each area of the operation in line with school expectations/budgetary constraints and agreed offer development plans.
• Ensure compliance with the health and safety policy and complete daily due diligence diary, adhering to COSHH regulations regarding food, equipment, materials and general safety.
