Job summary

Repton School is seeking a Hospitality and Retail Team Member to deliver warm, friendly service across its coffee shops, VIP events and catering operations. You will support the hospitality team and help ensure smooth customer experiences for pupils, staff and visitors.

The role is casual, primarily based at the Senior School with coverage at Prep and Repton Enterprises. You will work to high standards of food safety and service, reporting to the Operations Manager and contributing to a

Qualifications

Friendly, outgoing with strong communication across customers and colleagues.
Proven customer service achievements and team orientation.
Level 2 / basic food safety certificate or willingness to complete.
IT skills compatible with the schools EPOS system.

Responsibilities

Create a warm and welcoming environment for pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
Respond to requests promptly, delivering exceptional service.
Familiarise yourself with product ranges to answer customer questions.
Ensure safe, efficient delivery of all food and beverage orders with high service standards.
Set up and clear areas of responsibility promptly and professionally.
Act as an ambassador for the department and escalate complaints for speedy resolution.
Assist the Chef with preparation, cooking and service of food; keep kitchen clean.
Adhere to health and safety policy and complete daily due diligence diary per COSHH.
