Tesco is seeking a Mechanical Service Maintenance Technician covering Wolverhampton and surrounding areas. You will maintain a range of systems across stores, ensuring safety, compliance, and high standards for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with diverse access control and lift systems
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
• Familiarity with powered doors, lifting platforms, and compacting equipment
• Understanding of safety and regulatory requirements for workplace machinery

Responsabilités

• Respond to breakdowns swiftly and effectively to minimise downtime
• Conduct inspections, testing and certification to ensure compliance and safe operation
• Document all maintenance activity accurately using digital reporting tools
• Collaborate with site operations teams to ensure work is performed safely and with minimal disruption
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance procedures
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of systems and equipment

Mechanical apprenticeship/NVQ Level 2/

Full driving licence
