Job summary

Lidl invites ambitious graduates to join a 23-month rotational programme spanning Sales, Logistics and Supply Chain. You will start in store roles and progress to warehouse and regional office experiences as you build leadership skills.

Year 2 focuses on specialist routes in Store, Warehouse or Supply Chain Management, with an assessment day held at our Regional Distribution Centre in January 2027. A UK driving licence and travel willingness are required.

Qualifications

• Achieved a 2:2 or higher in a Bachelors Degree
• Eligible to work in the UK on a full-time basis and provide proof when required
• A willingness to travel regularly to stores and live within a commutable distance from your Regional Distribution Centre
• A full UK driving licence by 1 February 2027
• Assertiveness and confidence in your communication skills, enabling you to build strong and valuable relationships
• A proactive, hands-on mindset with a strong desire to understand core operational processes
• Enthusiasm to learn, develop and succeed in a fast-moving, challenging environment
• Resilience and determination, able to stay motivated, adapt to challenges, and maintain a positive approach
• Able to attend the assessment day on 18/01/2027

Responsibilities

• Year 1: Spend time in Sales (store-based), Logistics (warehouse-based) and Supply Chain (regional office-based).
• Year 1: Grow from Customer Assistant to store management in Sales.
• Year 1: Learn fundamentals of logistics by rotating through core warehouse areas.
• Year 1: Understand ordering, quality and supplier management in Supply Chain.
• Year 2: Choose a specialist route Store, Warehouse or Supply Chain Management and deepen expertise.
• This programme includes a video interview and face-to-face assessment at the Regional Distribution Centre on 14/01/2027.
• Aimed at developing leadership, resilience and business acumen for a retail career.
