Job summary

Randstad Technologies is seeking a proactive Retail IT Service Desk Analyst (1st Line) to support our nationwide stores from Portsmouth. You will be the frontline for POS, store devices, digital signage and CRM apps, ensuring smooth daily operations.

If you thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoy resolving a variety of issues, this role offers hands-on IT support with ServiceNow, and occasional travel for store openings or refits.

Qualifications

1+ years in IT Helpdesk or 1st Line Support (retail/multi-site preferred).
Familiar with EPOS hardware/software, payment terminals, CRM workflows.
Strong Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365; MDM experience a plus (Intune or Jamf).
Basic networking knowledge (Wi‑Fi, DHCP, LAN/WAN).
Calm, empathetic communicator; translates tech for staff.
Willingness to work retail shifts and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

Provide first-line technical support via phone, email and tickets.
Log, prioritize, troubleshoot and resolve incidents in ServiceNow.
Troubleshoot EPOS terminals, printers, barcode scanners and PEDs.
Support mobile devices used for selling and clienteling.
Assist with in-store network checks and user access requests.
Configure store hardware and travel to store openings or refits.
