Job summary

Essar Energy Transition (EET) is seeking an HR Business Partner for its Retail division to support rapid growth across the UK forecourt network. You will partner with leadership, manage employee relations, and drive workforce planning as new sites open.

You will travel regularly across the UK retail network, advise on organisational changes, and deliver high-volume recruitment and onboarding while ensuring compliance with UK employment law.

Qualifications

• Experience in an HR Business Partner or Senior Advisor role.
• Proven track record supporting rapid growth, organisational change (including TUPE) and high-volume recruitment.
• Strong employee relations expertise and up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with retail leadership to translate growth plans into people plans.
• Lead change management initiatives, including TUPE transfers and policy harmonisation.
• Advise and coach managers on employee relations, disciplinaries, grievances and absences.
• Plan workforce for new sites, acquisitions and seasonal demand with high-volume recruitment.
• Build pipelines for site, area and regional managers via succession planning and development programs.
• Collaborate with Learning CoEs on training in customer service, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Address attrition and engagement across frontline sites and acquired colleagues.
• Implement enterprise HR initiatives including performance management, rewards and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation including Working Time and right-to-work.
• Utilize workforce metrics to inform strategy and decisions.
