Job summary

B&M Retail is seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to support our Retail team, providing financial insight, robust analysis and constructive challenge that drives profitable decision-making across a diverse store portfolio.

You will partner with central and regional stakeholders, leading budgeting, forecasting and reporting to turn complex data into actionable insights that maximise store profitability.

Qualifications

• CIMA/ACCA qualified with 3+ years in Retail, Leisure or Travel.
• Strong commercial finance experience with ability to analyse P&L performance.
• Advanced Excel modelling and data visualization with Power BI or equivalent.
• Proactive, curious and results-focused with ability to turn data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with central Retail Operations and regional teams to challenge performance and influence decisions.
• Produce and own weekly and monthly reporting, KPI dashboards and variance analysis.
• Analyse the Retail cost base (store shrinkage, repairs, store hours) and key drivers YOY vs Budget.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes to improve forecast accuracy.
