Job summary

Mitie is recruiting a Retail Elite Security Officer to join the Total Security Management Team. The role requires flexibility in shift patterns and working locations, with a strong emphasis on customer service and security presence at locations (TN2).

You will protect customers and colleagues, deter theft and anti-social behaviour, and liaise with management and external agencies. Strong mediation and ethical conduct are essential, with relevant licences beneficial for progression.

Qualifications

• Retail security experience required.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Conflict resolution and mediation skills expected.
• Ability to work with different teams and flexible shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Protect customers and colleagues from abuse with a professional security presence.
• Provide highly visible security presence while delivering excellent customer service.
• Deter and prevent anti-social behaviour, theft, and crime.
• Liaise with store management, Police and external agencies when required.
• Use conflict resolution to diffuse difficult situations in the workplace.
• Ensure health, safety and wellbeing standards are maintained per company policies.
