Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking Elite security officers to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a highly visible presence that reduces the impact of anti-social behaviour on colleagues and customers.

You must hold a current SIA licence and be prepared for a full 5-year checkable history. The role involves a mix of customer service and crime-prevention duties, including wearing Body Worn CCTV and supporting community safety partnerships.

• Deliver industry leading customer service.
• Create a safe environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.
• Manage anti-social behaviour and build relationships with those that cause this.
• Engage with members of the public by providing a welcoming presence.
• Support the public and visitors with queries with friendly and polite service.
• Assist the Police and crime partnerships to help reduce crime in store.
• Wear Body Worn CCTV to support crime reduction and safety.

Job Overview:

Main duties:

• To deliver industry leading customer service
• To create a safe environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for customer and colleagues
• To manage anti-social behaviour and build relationships with those that cause this
• Engage with members of the public by providing a welcoming presence
• Support the public and visitors with their queries in a friendly and polite manner by demonstrating excellent customer service
• Support the Police and crime partnerships where required to aid with the reduction of crime in store
• To wear Body Worn CCTV to support in the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety
