Job summary

Iceland Foods Ltd in Gwersyllt is recruiting a committed Duty Manager to join the team as a Retail Assistant on a part-time basis. The role pays £11.60–£12.71 per hour, with an additional £2.00 per hour supplement when you run store shifts, and contracted hours are 16.

You will lead store tasks, support customers, and work to maintain great stock availability while following company policies. The package includes a range of benefits and career progression opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail management or supervisory role ideal but not essential.
• Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve the performance of every colleague.

Responsibilities

• Maximise profit by ensuring great product availability for customers.
• Drive sales with in-store promotions and excellent customer service.
• Deliver on actions set by the line manager and maintain daily floor discipline.
• Lead and develop the store team during shifts.
• Follow cash handling and security policies and processes.
• Support digital service initiatives and One Best Way procedures.
