Job summary

FCE Bank plc is seeking an experienced Operations & Contracts Manager to join our Retail Deposits team in Dunton, Essex. You will lead operations, contract and supplier management, and oversight of regulatory frameworks to improve customer experience and efficiency.

You will shape operating models, drive resilience, manage end-to-end contracts, vendor governance, and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring governance and compliance across the business while delivering value for customers.

Qualifications

• Proven and substantial experience within Retail Deposits in a banking or financial services environment.
• Experience in Operations Management.
• Experience in Operational Resilience.
• Experience with Outsourced Vendor Management.
• Contract Management experience.
• Procurement and Supplier Governance knowledge.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations.
• Experience developing and implementing operating models and strategies.
• Proven track record managing third‑party suppliers including negotiation and performance management.
• Strong project management, risk, and governance capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of operations management with focus on customer service, efficiency, and resilience.
• Develop and implement operational models and strategies to reduce costs and optimise processes.
• Project manage development of new systems, processes and operating models.
• Lead development, maintenance and implementation of the Operational Resilience framework with testing.
• Develop, manage and test the Consumer Duty framework and controls.
• Manage control risk assessments and the controls framework.
• Ensure compliance with FCA complaints handling and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor vendor performance and conduct regular vendor audits for quality and service.
• Oversee end-to-end contract management with negotiation and review of contracts.
• Collaborate with procurement to drive cost savings while maintaining service quality.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to deliver customer-centric solutions.
