Job summary

John Lewis Partnership’s Waitrose is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring quality produce and Partner-led service to customers’ doors. You’ll also support shop tasks, stock replenishment, and housekeeping when not on the road, with a night premium for late shifts.

Role requires a full UK manual driving licence, strong customer service, and the ability to work autonomously in a flexible schedule including weekends. Beaconsfield location, part-time hours with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Full valid B-Category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6-points.
• Great customer service skills.
• Time management skills.
• Able to cope with the physical requirements of the role (e.g. lifting of crates).
• Comfortable working independently with the ability to be self motivated and adaptable.
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Check your delivery routes for the day.
• Load and prepare your van for deliveries, ensuring orders are ready for customers.
• Ensure vehicle safety checks and road compliance.
• Be an ambassador for the Waitrose brand with excellent customer service.
• Help customers with their shopping and build rapport based on trust.
• Support the wider shop team with general shopkeeping tasks.
