Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process sales transactions at the register, and help maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and work in a retail environment. Part-time hours are available, with opportunities for growth and a commitment to a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk frequently.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
